1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Under European Union consumer protection rules, consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.

2. Exclusion of Withdrawal for Personalized Goods
In accordance with Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) and applicable national consumer law, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized.
Every product we sell is a storybook, custom puzzle, or print uniquely printed and manufactured based on individual names, photos, and personalized text submitted by you. The 14-day right of withdrawal is therefore excluded for all products we sell.

3. Digital Downloads
For digital books, you are asked during checkout to expressly agree that we deliver the digital content within 24 hours, before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, and to acknowledge that your right of withdrawal expires once delivery has begun (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). We confirm this consent in the order confirmation we send you by email. Without this consent we cannot deliver digital content before the withdrawal period has ended. Your statutory rights for defective digital content remain unaffected: if your file is faulty or cannot be downloaded, contact us at contact@giftedtales.eu and we will provide a working copy or a refund.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Misprinted Items
The exclusion of withdrawal for personalized goods does not limit your statutory warranty rights. If your personalized product arrives damaged, with defective binding, transit damage, or a printing error on our part, please notify us within 30 days of delivery at contact@giftedtales.eu with your order number and clear photo evidence. We will promptly issue a free replacement, reprint, or full refund.

5. Return Shipping and Instructions
Authorized returns of defective products must be dispatched to:
GiftedTales / ComputerOnCloud BV, Paasbloemstraat 14, 2170 Antwerpen, Belgium.
Please do not return any items without prior authorization, as unannounced packages cannot be processed.
